You have a point.
When I was a Mass Effect fan, I used to be a huge Liara and Asari fan boy. I am not a fan of Mass Effect, Liara, or the Asari anymore for many reasons.
I’ll give some of those reasons- when I was on my previous account, called Asari-are-hot, I got trolls and jerks and one even went as far as to call me a beastlist(not sure if its spelled right.). It was why I moved to the current account. And also Mass Effect 3 had so much wrong with it than just the ending, too much. Would turn this comment into an essay, would need its own submission post on this site.
And I realized a long while back how forced and how much of a creator’s pet Liara is. I fully understand why people hate her. And her personality is so widely varying, another reason why people hate her.
I am back into the Naruto series once again. Though it’s not perfect and I don’t like where the plot is going, there’s so much more to it than just the plot and characters. There’s the world it is in, and there’s so many blanks to fill in. I think it’s one of the leading reasons why it has so much fan fiction, like Harry Potter. In fact, Harry Potter has the most amount in Fanfiction.net. And another note, I have been into Naruto for so long, about eight years, too long to drop it. While I was into Mass Effect much less than that, two to three years at most.
Though I am wondering, why do you call them “more-realism-people”? I do agree with calling them that though, just unsure of the reason why they are called that.
You have a point there; those people are only haters to hard core fans.
I am wondering, what’s your opinion on Asari Justicars?
To me, now that I am no longer a fan, they are glorified murders.
While I think about it, it is complicated.
True about most fanboys and fangirls.
And you are very correct; you can’t take the human mind and moral and put it into Asari.
And I understand your thing about the law. Understandable, since things in one country/culture/ etc. might not be understood well by another.
True, it’s only a different land. Other worlds and different species might have something we don’t understand, and vice versa. It can get messy and complicated.
